Panoramic

For the panoramic assignment, we took multiple pictures and linked them together using photomerge in Photoshop. I'm happy that I learned how to do this, becuase I think I'll continue to shooting panoramics.

Nature - Photo Assignment #2

For this assignment, I decided to do nature. It was very difficult to decide what pictures to choose, because I had so many. In general, I really liked shooting nature because there's so many options.

shutter: 1/160 sec
aperture: f/5.8
iso: 800

I had so many pictures, I just decided to put a lot into a slideshow.

Second Photo Assignment

For the second photo assignment, I'm choosing to do nature/landscapes. I already have a lot of pictures that would work under this category that I took last week. I didn't have as much free time as I did for the last photo assignment, so this will be an easier project. Some inspiration I found on flickr is:
Flowers

Macro - Photo Assignment 1

In my first photo assignment, I chose to take pictures using the setting macro. This setting helps take close-up and focused pictures. I was familiar with this already, but I still liked finding new ideas for it.

My best picture:
shutter - 1/250s  aperture - f/3.5  ISO - 125

  1. big water drop
  2. drops on leaf

  5. more drops on pine needles
  6. ladybug
  7. shirt
  8. bee
  9. gumballs
  10. tree
  11. grass and tag

2nd Photoshop Assignment

In the second photoshop assignment we used layers and the lasso thing to edit a picture of a car. It was more difficult than the Pop Art assignment, but in all I learned more about Photoshop.

Car After:
Well the pictures aren't working...it said the images were too big. Oh well!

First Photo Assignment

For the first photo assignment I'm choosing to do macro. I think it seems the most interesting because it makes you look at details and find different perspectives of simple objects. Some examples I like are the two pictures below on Flickr.
dandelion thing
water drop

The picture I like best though, is one of a water drop with a colored background behind it: other water drop
